Seitan carbonara with green peas!

I love seitan! Although made of wheat gluten, seitan is fodmaps-approved because it doesn’t contain the fibers from wheat, in which you find the oligo-saccharides that is causing excess gas in the gut system in many IBS patients.

This carbonara is made by preparing seitan (using liquid smoke, tamari, smoked paprika and tahini in the dough) and when done, cutting it, frying it in minimal oil, and then adding oat cream, white and black pepper and herbs. Rice&corn-pasta cooked beside, and then added with limited amount of green peas (missing in the picture) and rose pepper.
